I am new to Kayaking. I tried out a few different types, and not having great balance liked the wider more stable fishing kayaks.I bought and tried out for the first time yesterday the NEXTGEN 10 MK2It is very stable and the rudder works so well. Seat is definitely designed for comfort. With all the storage spaces I have real plans to do some serious sight seeing.Guys at Newcastle shop where friendly and helpful. Bought a Nextgen 10 MkII kayak, last year, it's pretty good so far, round hull section, so not as stable as my Dragon Pro Fisher, and a bit heavier to lift onto my car roof, but good for heavier adults. Taken it out a few times and it's great on flat water, and very well equipped. - Mal H

Small enough to slide into the back of my little hatchback and take anywhere!Very inexpensive.Seat not very comfortable so I take padding. Nowhere good to rest feet on as my feet don't reach the end, so I use a block of wood. Not as stable as longer kayaks. - Kit Penfold
