I purchased a new Next Gen 11 to use for fishing. The kayak is well finished with plenty of features to support fishing. The main issue I have with the kayak is the position of the fixed rudder at the rear which prevents lifting the front end of the kayak to load it onto a Ute without putting excessive pressure on the rudder at the rear. This kayak is heavier than others I own so I can’t lift it directly onto car racks. I am currently manufacturing a trolley / slide to do this safely. On the water, it is very stable though there was a tendency for the rudder control to move slightly which required regular correction to maintain a straight course. We purchased the Eagle Double Kayak and found the quality very good compared to other brands.The kayak is very stable at the beach. The paddles supplied are very sturdy and push you through the water quickly.Would recommend this kayak for any families.Just note it is a heavy/long kayak to carry on your roof racks - Aaron Chambers

Bought a 2.8m next gen 9 kayak. You definitely need a rudder with this kayak otherwise it turns too easily for my liking (I weigh 75kg) I bought the large size rudder and it makes a huge difference, and is so much better to steer. They posted it promptly. The seat is comfy and is able to be leant right back so you can lay down and rest in the kayak (if you like). It weighs 19kg, so I'm able to lift it by myself onto the roof racks of my car. - M A.
