I am new to Kayaking. I tried out a few different types, and not having great balance liked the wider more stable fishing kayaks.I bought and tried out for the first time yesterday the NEXTGEN 10 MK2It is very stable and the rudder works so well. Seat is definitely designed for comfort. With all the storage spaces I have real plans to do some serious sight seeing.Guys at Newcastle shop where friendly and helpful. I recently purchased a NG9 and was told there was a 6-8 week wait as they inundated with purchases . My kayak arrived only 4 weeks later . The whole time while waiting I was receiving emails from the company with estimated arrival dates . The purchase was smooth and delivery was very fast . I am so wrapped with the quality of the next gen 9 . This was my 2nd kayak purchase from the company and I’m still getting emails about safety and storage . I’m enjoying my one/two person kayak very much. It’s stable, tracks well against wind gusts, I can load it on and off my truck easily by myself, very happy. My only minor niggle - I would have liked an instruction manual just to explain my options for use - but great boat! - Matthew Willcox
