I hadn't used a kayak in 15yrs and was a little hesitant but this kayak gives you so much confidence extremely stable and easy to control. I've been caught twice coming across Brisbane water nsw with fairly big wind changes producing 1-2ft chop and creating rough conditions the nextgen9 handled it no problem on the worst occasion I was pushing against small white caps on the chop and ended up with nothing more than a couple of small puddles of water in the kayak very impressive. Received my NextGen10 kayak 2 weeks ago. It’s exactly what I expected from the online order. I’m brand new to kayaking and found this particular model very user friendly to the novice.
