I had been researching kayaks for over 6 months prior to purchasing my next gen 9 from kayaks to fish. I was looking for an all rounder kayak but with all the features to hit the waters for a fish and the next gen delivered this is in spades. I love the colour (grey camo) and features which allow me to store everything I need. I would highly recommend these kayaks to anyone looking for a fishing kayak. This review is for Nextgen 9 Kayak. Great service from the guys at the Melbourne warehouse, they even loaded them on the roof racks for us. The kayaks themselves are designed really well. We’ve been using them in the beach between mordialloc and Sandringham and they feel really stable on the water. They handle the choppy waters and playing in small waves but are better on a calm day if you want a long paddle. Make sure you tighten all the screws around the kayak before you use it some will not be tightened fully. The hatches are pretty dry too which is great, but you’ll want a dry bag for phone wallet camera etc. If you’re on the fence, just buy one they’re excellent value and a lot of fun. - Poopy

Very clear communication and the kayak has been fantastic so far. The only problem was the actual paddles, as one of the latches broke right away. They sent me a replacement part and I have not figured out yet how to put it into place. - Loris
