I purchased a new Next Gen 11 to use for fishing. The kayak is well finished with plenty of features to support fishing. The main issue I have with the kayak is the position of the fixed rudder at the rear which prevents lifting the front end of the kayak to load it onto a Ute without putting excessive pressure on the rudder at the rear. This kayak is heavier than others I own so I can’t lift it directly onto car racks. I am currently manufacturing a trolley / slide to do this safely. On the water, it is very stable though there was a tendency for the rudder control to move slightly which required regular correction to maintain a straight course. I recently purchased the k2f next gen 10 mk2 and when I say I am impressed that is an understatement. This kayak offers everything that the keen fisho would need, such as plenty of storage and options for future accessories to be fitted. Being a bigger bloke like myself I was scepticle about buying a kayak but on this particular yak I feel as comfortable as anything and I think that the next gen 10 mk 2 is worth every penny. - Jackson S.

Purchased Nexgen 9 at Rocklea warehouse very happy with service and supplied motor mount and helped load on to vehicle. Used a couple of times and very stable and light to load and unload. Only problem was all screws were loose and hatches leaked in water. Motor mount was to thick for my T18 watersnake had to plane down to fit. - Cindy Macklin

Hubby and I purchased a NextGen11 pedal kayak each and we absolutely love them. We live opposite the water so we don't have to worry about transporting them, just pop them on the trolleys that we also purchased and straight over to the water we go. The trolleys are amazing I strap them on whilst the kayak is in the water and then pull the kayaks straight up the boat ramp. We also purchased outriggers to go on our kayaks, we will try them out today. It is a really good exercise pedaling the kayak and we love it. We love our kayaks and it now just a matter of when the weather is right, then we are out there. Depending on the weather might even go fishing in them today. - Ray W
