Read MoreI love my new Nextgen 9 kayak from kayaks2fish. The online purchase was super smooth & I was kept up to date every step of the way. Taking my kayak out on the water & discovering my backyard from the water, is my newest favourite thing to do on the weekend. I would definitely recommend kayaks2fish for your next kayak purchase. - Cathy Beckett
I found the warehouse very helpful and accommodating as I arrived the day after the 4day weekend while they were unloading a new shipment. They spent the time letting me look around different kayak models and had one I was able to sit in to confirm I was able to fit it (I'm 180 cm and the raised seating is a tight squeeze, but doable) I ended up purchasing a NextGen 10 Mk2 along with a Lowrance Fish finder (Hook2 x4) and kayak storage hoist. My only criticism are about the Kayak (very minor), with the rudder being very stiff to raise and lower, solved with lubricant, but information to do this would of helped), the sounder transducer recess not being deep enough to fit the mounting + transducer from the fish finder which I was able to solve but reshaping the bracket a little. The "O" ring for the rear hatch was poorly made (large bulge where it was joined) and kept catching the screw cover and broke after being closed a few times. The things I would like different, but was aware of would be I plain center cover as an optional extra as drink holder and rod holder points take up a lot of room that could be used and a non proprietary rod holder mounting that can be used with different mounting systems. - SP Beazley
We purchased two Nextgen 9 kayaks in October last year. The price was competitive and the kayaks arrived when expected. The staff at the Sydney (Wetherill Park) warehouse were pleasant and helpful for the pick-up. The kayaks have performed well so far - easy to get in and out, stable, easy to steer. The elevated seat with this model is comfortable and keeps you dry. We have been stacking both on our roof rack and this works well but you definitely need two people to do this. Worth watching a few videos on how to secure a kayak before you pick them up. Too early to comment on durability but certainly no concerns so far. - Mary
My wife and I purchased the two seater kayak to spend time exercising together on the water. Our purchase from Kayak2Fish has also doubled as a stable fishing kayak and has provide many hours of enjoyment for the whole family in fresh and saltwater conditions. Thank you also the excellent sales and follow up service of this product. - Peter McGiffin
Waited to use my new Orca Triton before writing this review, and now have 2 trips out under my belt. The Triton is great, handles excellent, and very stable with the blow up outriggers. Went on a rougher day (20km winds) with a passenger and we held up well, bit of water in hull but not enough to sink us... Second trip was solo, 10km winds, and she handles awesome, can't wait to get out again.Recommend highly. - Andy Bent
